The cute sandy beach of Agia Paraskevi is situated at the southern coast of the island, which is well protected from the strong northern winds. The beach is found some 8,5 kilometers southwestern to the town of Skiathos and half kilometer southern to Platanias. It owes its name to the homonymous small church hidden in the shade of huge perennial plane trees and tall aspens.
