Kanapitsa beach, Skiathos Island |

The sandy beach of Kanapitsa, the most popular beach of the island, is situated at a distance of 7,5 kilometers southwestern to the town of Skiathos, in front of the homonymous small tourist resort and very close to the scenic cape of Kalamaki. Many alternatives for accommodation are available in the area around. The sea front taverns will offer you fresh fish and nice aperitifs, which you will enjoy along with the breathtaking view; so, don’t forget to take photos. |

The beach is well organized and the sea crystal clear and very clean. The swimmers will find all facilities for swimming, sunbathing, as well as sea and beach sports. For any problem you have to return to the town of Skiathos, some 7,5 kilometers far from the beach at the Northeast. Access to the beach is easy by public buses, by taxi and by rented or private car and motorbikes. You will leave your vehicle at the parking by the road and walk for a few minutes to get to the beach. The bus station is also close to the parking. |
