Ligaries or Alygaries is not organized at all. It is a beach for solitary souls with crystal clear and very clean sea and a wild and exotic natural environment. If you come here it is for enjoying a beach without big crowds, far from the noise of the popular resorts of the southern coast and for relaxing in an almost intact natural environment. Be careful when there are northern winds, since the sea gets wavy enough.
In case of emergence the corresponding services of the town of Skiathos, some 12 kilometers at the Southeast, are available for you.
Access to the beach is possible by the excursion boats departing daily from the town of Skiathos. If you prefer to come by car or motorbike you have to drive for some 6 kilometers on a good dirt road and you have to leave your car close enough to the beach. |
