No accommodation facilities are available close to the beach, but you will find several alternatives for lodging in the broader area, at Nea Makri, at Rafina and at Marathonas. The place used to be a suitable place for summer holidays even in the past and since many years it hosts campings for children. The beach keeps being very popular and receives many people, especially during the weekends. The beach is not organized, but the sea is shallow and deepens smoothly, which makes it suitable for families with small children and elderly people. |

Access to the beach is easy by the intercity public buses (KTEL) running regularly, as well as by rented or private car and motorbikes. Parking close to the beach is a bit difficult during the weekends, especially in August. From Athens you will arrive to the beach of Aghios Andreas following the road leading to Marathonas. |
