Agios Dimitrios beach, Attica |
The small sandy beach of Agios Dimitrios is a beach at Saronicos, well protected from the northern winds, situated at a distance of some 35 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens and belongs to the territory of the Municipality of Kalyvia, a small town at Messogaea, close enough to Keratea. |

Several alternatives for accommodation and food and drink are available close to the beach and in the area around. The beach is nice for beach games as volley and tennis and thus it attracts many people both youngsters and families who have their summer holidays in the area. |

In case of emergence the local Medical Center and the pharmacies of the village of Kalyvia (some 8 kilometers northern to the beach) are available for you. Access to the beach is easy by public buses running regularly, as well as by private means (car and motorbikes). If you reach the beach by private means you shoule bear in mind that parking close to the beach is pretty difficult during the weekends, especially in August. |
