Agios Kosmas is a long, sandy, well organized beach in short distance (a few hundred meters) off the coastal Poseidonos Avenue, just after Alimos and opposite to the ex- Western Airport of Athens. It is situated at a distance of some 9 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens; this too is one of the closest beaches to the city center. The beach is adjacent to the Athletic Center which receives many people both in the weekdays and during the weekends.

Accommodation facilities, food and drink, entertainment and amusement, shopping and various every day provisions are fully available, as the beach is found within the urban tissue of the broader area of the capital city. Thus, you have plenty of choices for any activity, any taste and any budget. You will also find many alternatives for parking of your vehicle, as well as night life, coffee bars and stores in close distance from the beach.

The beach is fully organized with facilities for swimming, sunbathing (umbrellas, sun beds, showers) and sea sports.

In case of emergence the appropriate services of the area around are available for you. In close distance you will find a Police and a Traffic Police station, as well as several services of the public or private sector.
