The beach of Anavyssos is in fact the organized part of the long sandy beach of Anavyssos bay, situated at a distance of 47 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens.

Accommodation facilities, food and drink, entertainment and amusement, shopping and various every day provisions are fully available, within the lively settlement of Anavyssos, as well as in the neighboring resorts of Palaea Phokaea (less than 1 kilometer far away at the South)and of Saronida (some 5 kilometers at the Northwest). The abundance of choices for any activity makes the shole area a pole of attraction both for permanent residency, for summer staying and for daily excursions and for a short break from everyday stress and routine. As a result the area attracts a lot of people who can find here a wide range of solutions suitable for every taste, mood and budget. You will find alternatives for parking of your vehicle, as well as night life and any sort of entertainment, taverns and restaurants, coffee bars and various stores for shopping in close distance from the beach.

The beach is fully organized with a lot of services and facilities necessary for a comfortable and pleasant swimming and sunbathing. There is a playground for children, a beach-volley ground and facilities for various sports. Access to the beach is easy by public buses, running regularly, by taxi and by private means (car or motorbikes). In general, you will not have problems of parking, unless during the weekends. Anavyssos and the adjacent Palaea Phocaea are pretty flat and thus suitable for walking and cycling. If you arrive by boat or yacht you may use the adjacent marinas for mooring. At the stores of Anavyssos you will find all necessary supplies for your vessel.
