The organized sandy beach of Freatyda is situated at the southern coast of the peninsula of Piraeus, before arriving to Zea (also known as Pashalimani), within the urban tissue of the city of Piraeus, at a distance of 13 kilometers far from the center of Athens. It is the longest and the best organized in the area, with sand and fine pebbles.
