Erotospilia beach, Attica

The beach with the romantic name “Erotospilia” (meaning in Greek “the cave of love”) is a small beach, with sand, rocks and caves, within a small cove, one kilometer far from the settlement of Porto Rafti, at the Southwest. The beach is situated at a distance of some 9 kilometers eastern to Markopoulo Mesogaeas, to which it belongs, and 36 kilometers eastern to the center of Athens. The beach is well protected from the “meltemia” (northern summer winds).

Accommodation facilities are few near the beach, but you may find any type of lodging in the broader area, in Porto Rafti, in Artemida (Loutsa) and in the rest of the neighboring summer resorts. The coastal settlement of Porto Rafti offers many alternatives for food and drink and it is famous for its nightlife, especially in summer, and for the chances it offers for amusement all year round. You will find a lot of coffee bars, clubs, music bars and haunts for young people.

At the beach there is a snack bar at the seafront for cool drinks and refreshments and light meals.
