Asteras of Glyfada beach, Attica |

The beach of Asteras (meaning “star” in Greek) starts just behind the old nightclub “Asteria” and is extended all along the small peninsula southern to Glyfada. It is situated only a few hundred meters far from the center of Glyfada and some 20 kilometers from the city center of Athens. |

It is a very well organized beach, one of the older organized beaches of Saronicos Bay; it is sandy with enough green and a lot of facilities for the swimmers. Once at the beach you have the chance to enjoy a drink or a meal, but being within the town, you may also choose to stay, eat, shop and enjoy yourself within the center of the town, which offers all facilities to the visitors. |

In case of emergence, you may address to the corresponding services of Glyfada. Access to the beach is very easy by all means, by bus and tramway with frequent service, running to all directions, by taxi or radio-taxi, by rented or private car and motorbikes, even on foot if you stay close enough. |
