The sandy beach at the western part of Saronicos Bay is rather well protected from the northern winds; it is situated in front of the summer settlement of Kinetta within a wonderful environment with pine trees and with nice summer houses. The beach is found some 55 kilometers western to the center of Athens, at the end of the area known as Kakia Scala.

The beach and the area around offer various alternatives for accommodation and the place is well known for the nice food and the fish taverns at the sea front; thus it attracts many visitors, especially in the weekends.

Access to the place is easy by intercity public buses running regularly, as well as by private means (car or motorbikes); Parking close to the beach might be slightly difficult in the weekends, especially in August. Access to Kinetta is also possible by the suburban railway.
