The sandy beach of Passalimani or Passa is situated within the well protected cove of Panormos, at the South of the port of Lavrion, some 62 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens.

Many accommodation facilities are available both close to the beach and in the broader area of Lavreotiki, especially at the neighboring summer resorts, mainly at Sounio. Apart from a nice swimming the beach also offers the chance for tasting gorgeous fish and sea food, in the taverns at the sea front.

The beach is not organized at all; only a few tamarisk trees will protect you from the bright sun in the hot days of summer. The sea is pretty clean and deepens smoothly.

For any problem, the pharmacies and the local Medical Center of Lavrion, some 6 kilometers at the Northeast, are available for you. At Lavrion you will also find a Police Station and a Port Authorities’ Station.
