Several accommodation facilities are available at Palaea Phokaea, at Anavyssos and at the rest of the summer settlements of the broader area, where you will have more choices. The coastal settlement is nice both for longer staying and for a quick dive, not very far from Athens. Thus, you will enjoy swimming in a nice calm sea, especially during the weekdays, as in the weekends the beach attracts many people and gets crowded. After swimming the visitors will have the chance to enjoy a gorgeous meal in the numerous taverns at the sea front which offer various dishes for any budget. The beach is basically organized with umbrellas and sun beds and the sea is rather shallow. |

In case of health problems, the pharmacies of Anavyssos, at a distance of some 1,5 kilometers northern to the beach, are available for you. Access is easy by the intercity public buses with regular service and by rented or private car and motorbikes. Parking may be difficult during the weekends, especially in August, as well in the evenings when people come here to enjoy dinner at the sea front taverns of the settlement. If you reach the place by boat or yacht, the marinas of the neighboring settlements are available for mooring of your vessel. |
