The sandy beach within the well protected cove of Panormos, at the South of the port of Lavrion is situated at a distance of some 63 kilometers southeastern to the center of Athens.

Many accommodation facilities are available both near the beach and in the broader area of Lavreotiki, especially close to the summer resorts, mainly at Sounio. The beach is ideal not only for a nice swimming but also for gorgeous food, as some taverns at the sea front offer fresh fish and sea food.

The beach is not organized at all and no facilities for swimming and sunbathing are available; only a few tamarisk trees will protect you from the bright sun in the hot days of summer. The sea is clean and deepens smoothly.

In case of emergence you should address to the pharmacies and the local Medical Center of Lavrion, some 5 kilometers at the Northeast. At Lavrion you will also find a Police Station and a Port Authorities’ Station.
