Several accommodation facilities are available at Palaea Phokaea, at Anavyssos and at the rest of the summer settlements of the broader area, where you will have more choices. You will enjoy swimming in a nice calm sea, especially during the weekdays, as in the weekends the beach attracts many people and gets crowded. After swimming the visitors will have the chance to enjoy a gorgeous meal in the numerous taverns at the sea front which offer various dishes for any budget. The beach is not organized and the sea is shallow and deepens smoothly, an advantage for families with small children and for elderly people. |

In case of health problems, the pharmacies of Anavyssos, at a distance of some 2,5 kilometers northern to Thymari, are available for you. Access to the beach is easy by the intercity public buses with regular service and by rented or private car and motorbikes. Parking may be difficult during the weekends, especially in August. |
