The small sandy beach in front of the summer settlement of Zoumberi is situated one kilometer southern to the center of Nea Makri, to which it belongs, and some 31 kilometers northeastern to the center of Athens.

Several accommodation facilities are available in the settlement and close to the beach, as well as in the broader area and in the settlements of Nea Makri, Rafina and Marathonas. As Mati, Zoumberi too was considered as an ideal place for swimming and summer residence even in the past; today it is better during the weekdays, because in the weekends it receives a great number of visitors who come here both for swimming and for the taverns of the settlement.

The beach is not organized, but the sea is shallow and deepens smoothly, which makes it suitable for families with small children, for elderly people and for beginners in swimming.

In case of health problems you may address to the pharmacies or to the Local Medical Center of Nea Makri, some 1 kilometer northern to the beach.
