Portaria is a famous large village located on the northwestern mountainside of Pelion, at a distance of only 12 kilometers northeastern to Volos. The visitors will enjoy an excellent natural environment and a lot of sightseeing, both within the village and around it. The view from Portaria is very interesting as the village looks out to Pagassitikos bay and the villages around.
