Zagora is the result of the successful combination of the traditional style that used to have this old big village which flourished in the 17th and 18th centuries, with the facilities of a modern tourist resort. It is located at the eastern mountainside of Pelion, at a distance of some 45 kilometers northeastern to Volos. It offers an excellent view of Pagasitikos Bay.
